Join friends from UBC on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in February 2022!
This 11-day trip will deepen your understanding of the Bible and Jesus’ life and ministry through visits to such places as Bethlehem, Galilee, and Jerusalem, where you will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Garden Tomb, the Upper Room, the Garden of Gethsemane, Caiaphas’ house, and the Mount of Olives. You will also visit places like Capernaum, Samaria, Jericho, Mount Hermon, Qumran, Masada, the Sea of Galilee, and the Dead Sea. At each location, your local Christian guide will share nuances of culture, society, and geography that will give you fresh insights as you study the Bible. Every Christian can gain a deeper appreciation for their faith by a visit to the Holy Land!
Holy Land pilgrimage informational meetings will be held at 10:30am (between worship services) on May 16th and 23rd in the church office. Murray and Penny Kenyon, who will lead a trip to the Holy Land in February 2022, will share details about the pilgrimage they made in 2020, and answer your questions about the itinerary, travel, logistics, cost, and other aspects of this opportunity. If you have an interest in visiting the Holy Land, please register to attend one of these meetings, or contact Murray if you cannot attend.
