We are just two weeks away from our annual Trunk or Treat! For the past 10 years, this has been a wonderful event for families from our church and community to enjoy. We expect to host close to 1,200 people again this year and we need a large team to help bring it all together. 

There are many ways you can take part, from donating candy beforehand to decorating your car or helping around the property during the event. Adult Ministries Update

• We just concluded our fall Connect Fair, which was an amazing success! 43 people were connected to a Home Group for the first time! Additionally, 185 people are Learning Together across 6 Digging Deeper classes throughout the week. From learning to defend our faith in today's culture and growing a strong marriage to reading and studying the Old Testament, there are many opportunities for growing in your walk with Jesus at Uniontown!
  
• In the Spring semester, we will launch a 10-week experience called Rooted. Rooted exists to connect people to God, the Church, and Their Purpose. We are excited to launch this experience for everyone in the next few months, and we hope you will join us in becoming people who are Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More information is coming very soon!
  
• We are officially in the last lap of our Every Word reading! 3/4 of the New Testament is behind us, which means you’ve read more Scripture this year than some of us have read in our entire lives. Only about 25% is left, and Monday we kick it off with Titus, a nice, short 3-chapter book, followed by Philemon... a single chapter. Think about ... this week you can read through 2 entire books of the Bible! So keep going, church! And if we lost you somewhere along the way, maybe back in Acts when Paul was getting shipwrecked for what felt like the 10th time, it is never too late to jump back in. Grab your Bible Monday morning and come finish this thing with us.
  

Global Update

• Join us at Uniontown Bible Church on Sunday, October 18, at 6:30 PM for a special evening with the Buntin family! While they are home on an extended break, we’re excited to have this opportunity to hear firsthand about their ministry journey, the latest updates, and what God has in store for them next. There will be time for questions, fellowship, and an opportunity to pray over the family as they prepare for their next steps in ministry. Dessert and coffee will be provided. We hope you'll join us for this encouraging evening!
  
• The UBC Lighthouse Team recently completed its fourth mission trip to North Carolina, continuing to help families rebuild following the devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. This trip took the team to Asheville, where the visible signs of destruction have largely faded, but the stories shared by homeowners serve as powerful reminders of the storm’s lasting impact.   During the trip, the team worked on two homes nearing completion, tackling projects that included painting, laying sod, building a deck, and installing kitchen cabinet trim. Along the way, there were opportunities for fellowship, daily devotions, meaningful conversations, and even a bear sighting! It was a week of hard work, encouragement, and serving others with the love of Christ. See photos from our recent trip here.
• The Lighthouse Team’s next trip is scheduled for January 3–8 in Boone, North Carolina, as UBC continues to come alongside communities still recovering from the storm. Thank you to everyone who serves, prays, and supports these ongoing outreach efforts!
