Podcast

This fall we started Talk of the Town, a podcast from Uniontown. On Talk of the Town, we hear from our church leaders and members on how God is moving in and around our church. For 2026, we will focus on how God is using Every Word to shape us into the image of Christ. You can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or on our website at utown.org/messages.

Every Word & Connect Night

This year, as a church, we’re beginning Every Word, a shared way for our church family to engage Scripture together each day using the same four reflection questions.

  • What does this chapter say about who God is?
  • What does this chapter show about people and about me?
  • Where is the good news of Jesus in this chapter?
  • What should I do with this today?

On Tuesday, January 20, at 7 pm, we will host Connect Night, a relaxed, low-pressure evening designed to help people meet a few others who may want to walk through Every Word together over the year. This is not a formal group sign-up night, but an opportunity to connect, talk, and decide if you’d like to meet with others on your own schedule.

Connect Night is for anyone at Uniontown, whether you’re new or have been here for years. Come, meet a few people, and see how God may use His Word to connect us.

Farmhouse Property Update

After completing surveys and meeting with the county through several development discussions, we are preparing to submit plans to separate roughly 10 acres of the farmhouse property. This step would allow that portion of the property to be sold.

The process has been moving forward in a positive way, and we’ll continue to keep the congregation informed as next steps unfold. Thank you for your prayers and trust.

Meet Elder Kevin Pahl

Kevin grew up in Sykesville. His family attended a Presbyterian (PCA) church, and it was there when he was in 5th grade he gave his life to Christ. His passion has always been for music and playing drums. He attended Liberty University receiving a Bachelor of Science in worship and music ministry. While at Liberty he met his wife Heather and they were married in 2007. In 2013 they started attending Uniontown Bible Church and became members. Since becoming members, Kevin has been serving on the worship team, playing drums, and leading a small group with UBCYM and now serves as an Elder.

Outside of UBC Kevin is a professional piano technician, working around the Baltimore area. He has two children Micah (16) and Lucy (13) who attend Mt. Airy Christian Academy. He is honored to serve the body as an elder here at UBC and wants to continue to build relationships with the members. If you don’t already know Kevin, please find him and introduce yourself.
